Title: New to SR, Feel free to call me whatever slang you want to.
Post by: AnonAghost on December 22, 2011, 01:18 pm
I am in need of advice, I just currently joined SR and I would like to know how to set up PGP,GPG whatever it is. And I would also like to know if anyone in Central United States (NEB,KS,SD) has had any issues with receiving their "goods" on schedule and with out question from authorities/postal workers.

Thank You Much,
AnonAghost

Hello, anonaghost.

Start by reading official SR wiki ( http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php/Main_Page ). If you still have questions use the forum search function. If you still have questions, then make a thread like this one!

Best of luck,
Bob

Problem packages are only due to vendor mishaps of the packaging itself, if it is properly done you have no problem. We take up MAYBE .1% of packages so it isn't a big deal.

For your first buy on silkroad, I would not finalize early, and find a seller who is above the top 90 sellers.

And I have never used PGP

Never used PGP and not had any problems? I'm just weary about my first purchase...idk if that's normal or not haha what was your first purchase like?

Thanks,

Your identity is the most important piece of information you'll share on this website. It is in your interest to use means such as PGP to keep your address as secure as possible.

There is a steep learning curve for PGP but once you get the hang of it encrypting information is simple.

I recommend using gpg4win.org

I'm a new buyer myself and working on my first transactions. I started the following thread for those like us. not trying to toot my own horn or act cool, just trying to help the community. Cheers.

Concerning PGP encryption... these are the guides that helped me...

Start with this:

Then when you get confused this should clear things up. Copy/paste to Kleopatra...easy cake!

Welcome to SR!

New to SR, Feel free to call me whatever slang you want to.

This is actually one of the friendliest online communities I've ever been a part of, and we haven't developed a term we use to call the new folks.
Just goes to show ya that the stereotypes about potheads is true, most of us are pretty chill people.  :P

I am new here too, been reading a lot, but few things left for me to get the hang off (pgp & bitcoin transactions).
Yes, a lot of helpful people and posts on here :)

Cheers,
